Guillaume Giroux Inducted into CCAA Hall of Fame

The Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) is proud to announce the induction of former Collège Montmorency Nomades women's basketball head coach Guillaume Giroux into the CCAA Hall of Fame.
Giroux's success with the Nomades included an impressive run of three consecutive national championships from 2013 to 2015, cementing the program's place among the most dominant in CCAA history. Under his leadership, the Nomades consistently competed among the nation's elite while establishing a culture of excellence that continues to define the program today. Throughout his career, Giroux was recognized not only for the championships his teams won, but also for his commitment to developing student-athletes and fostering a culture built on teamwork, accountability, and excellence. Through his leadership, vision, and lasting impact on the sport of basketball, Guillaume Giroux leaves a legacy that continues to inspire generations of student-athletes and coaches across Canada. Adding further significance to the occasion, Giroux was officially welcomed into the CCAA Hall of Fame during a special celebration on June 16 at Collège Montmorency—the very institution where he built one of the most successful programs in collegiate basketball history.

One of the most successful coaches in Canadian collegiate basketball history, Giroux led the Nomades women's basketball program from 1999 to 2015, building a dynasty that became the standard of excellence in the CCAA. During his tenure, Montmorency captured seven CCAA national championships (2002, 2003, 2006, 2011, 2013, 2014, and 2015) and added a bronze medal on the national stage. His achievements were recognized with CCAA Coach of the Year honours in 2004 and 2011.
