Audrey Lagarde Inducted into the CCAA Hall of Fame

The Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) is proud to announce the induction of former Collège Ahuntsic Aigles women's soccer standout Audrey Lagarde into the CCAA Hall of Fame.
Lagarde's outstanding 2012 campaign saw her earn CCAA Most Valuable Player honours while leading the Aigles to the program's first national championship. She was also named the RSEQ Player of the Year in both 2012 and 2013. Reflecting on her collegiate career, Lagarde remembers the friendships, challenges, and experiences that shaped her journey. "Without a doubt, my fondest memories are the friendships and connections I built over my four years," said Lagarde. "Every training session, competition, and moment shared with my teammates helped create unforgettable memories." Among those memories, one stands above the rest: the 2012 CCAA Women's Soccer National Championship in Prince Edward Island. "Our team was crowned national champion, and I had the privilege of being named the CCAA Player of the Year," she recalled. "The atmosphere was electric, and we knew we were living something truly special." Representing Collège Ahuntsic remains a source of great pride for Lagarde, who joined the program when it was still building its reputation at the highest level of collegiate soccer. "Today, 16 years later, the Ahuntsic soccer program has become one of the most competitive in the country," she said. "I am proud to know that our group helped build the foundation that brought the program to where it is today." The news of her Hall of Fame induction brought both pride and perspective. "This induction allows me to take a step back and appreciate how far I've come," said Lagarde. "It reminds me of the challenges overcome, the sacrifices made, and everything sport has given me along the way." Through her accomplishments, leadership, and lasting impact on collegiate soccer in Canada, Audrey Lagarde leaves a legacy that continues to inspire future generations of student-athletes. Audrey Lagarde was officially welcomed into the CCAA Hall of Fame during a special celebration on June 16 at Cégep Montmorency, recognizing her outstanding contributions to collegiate athletics in Canada.

A graduate of the Legal Techniques program, Lagarde left an indelible mark on the Aigles women's soccer program through her exceptional play and leadership. Among the most decorated student-athletes of her era, she was named an All-Canadian from 2011 to 2013 and earned a place on the CCAA Championship All-Star Team in each of those three seasons.
