Douglas Royals 77 St. Thomas Tommies 48
On Day 3 of the CCAA Women’s Basketball Championship at Dawson College, the Douglas Royals secured a convincing 77–48 victory over the St. Thomas Tommies. The Royals established control early, building a massive 40–20 lead by halftime behind a dominant performance from Lauren Clements, who recorded 23 points and 18 rebounds. While Charlee Connors led the Tommies with 23 points, St. Thomas struggled to find offensive consistency against a stifling Douglas defense. The Royals' superior depth and interior presence proved decisive; they outscored the Tommies 23–9 in bench points and doubled their output in the key, finishing with 40 points in the paint compared to St. Thomas’s 20. This well-rounded team effort allowed the Royals to maintain their momentum and comfortably close out the win. |

| Dawson Blues 72, NAIT Ooks 66
In the final game of the day, the host Dawson Blues held off a late surge from the NAIT Ooks to secure a 72–66 victory. Dawson appeared to be in total control early on, taking a commanding 15-point lead into halftime. This dominant start was fueled by identical 17-point performances from Alice Michaud and Mia Simpson, with Simpson nearly recording a double-double while adding 9 rebounds and 6 steals to disrupt the Ooks' rhythm. However, the game tightened up in the final frame as NAIT mounted a spirited comeback. Led by Mikah Reed’s 15 points and a double-double from Grace Culshaw, the Ooks chipped away at the deficit. Despite the pressure, the Blues maintained their composure through efficient transition play and high-pressure defense to protect their lead until the final buzzer. With this hard-fought result, Dawson officially advances to face Saint-Jean in the bronze medal game this Saturday. |
