OSHAWA, Ont. - Day three of the 2025 CCAA Women’s Volleyball Championship has come to an end and only four teams remain with three medals up for grabs. Providence secured a hard-fought four-set victory over Mount Allison (25-23, 29-27, 28-30, 25-23). Tyra Peters led the way for Providence with 14 kills, six aces, 17 digs, and 20.0 total points. Serena Algera contributed with 14 kills, one block, and nine digs, finishing with 15.0 points. Setter Amanda Bergen kept the offence flowing with 44 assists, five digs, and two service aces. For her standout performance, Peters was named olayer of the match for Providence. Mount Allison battled until the final points, with Emma Burns putting up 13 kills, 15 digs, and a block for 14.0 total points . Erica Astephen was a force at the net, leading the team with 16 kills, two blocks, and three digs. Setter Logan Tait controlled the offence with 38 assists while also adding four service aces and 10 digs. Emma Burns earned player of the match honours for Mount Allison. |

VIU won in a straight-set sweep over Durham (25-15, 25-17, 25-17), hitting an impressive .411 as a team. Aimee Skinner led the way with 12 kills, four blocks, and eight digs, racking up 17.0 total points. Emma Schill added 11 kills, two aces, and seven digs, finishing with 13.0 points. Keira Crellin chipped in 32 assists, while adding four digs and two aces. Crellin was named player of the match for VIU. Chelsea Oke had an efficient outing for the Lords, finishing with eight kills on a .350 hitting percentage and six digs. Elizabeth McFarland also recorded eight kills, along with two digs. Setter Brooke Young kept Durham’s attack organized, tallying 21 assists and six digs. Jayde Smyth was recognized as player of the match for Durham. |

| Garneau booked their spot in the bronze medal match with a 3-1 victory over Augustana (25-12, 22-25, 25-20, 25-20).
Florence Campeau orchestrated the offence masterfully with 41 assists, three service aces, and a kill. Audrey Bizeau was a defensive anchor with 17 digs, five service aces, and seven kills. Jessica Mireault was a presence at the net with four kills and three blocks. Campeau was named player of the match for Garneau. Taryn Watson led the charge for the Vikings with 12 kills, one ace, and 11 digs. Hadley Ziemmer provided additional firepower with 10 kills and nine digs. Phaedra Bruens was strong in all areas, dishing out 25 assists, tallying five aces, and digging 17 balls. Watson was named player of the match for Augustana. The bronze medal match will take place on Saturday, March 8 at 4:00 PM, featuring Garneau and VIU. The gold medal match follows at 6:00 PM, where the Humber Hawks take on the Lakeland Rustlers for the national championship. |
