A 2025 ACAC South Player of the Year and ACAC All-Conference selection, Charlton’s excellence has been a constant throughout her career. The decorated midfielder has now earned four consecutive All-Conference honours, was named the 2024 ACAC Futsal Championship MVP, and even received an invite to the Canadian National Women’s Futsal Team tryouts. “Her ability to consistently elevate her team’s play while maintaining such composure and leadership is a testament to her dedication and character," said Marlene Ford, CCAA Women’s Soccer Convenor Over her remarkable collegiate career, Charlton has amassed 33 goals and 31 assists in 53 games, recording 97 career points. Beyond her individual success, she has been instrumental in guiding the Trojans to multiple ACAC titles and consistent championship contention. “Nikki is a leader within the Trojans, not only is she a standout on the field, she works extremely hard in the classroom and gives her time to engage in campus and community work,” said Lauren Kucera, SAIT’s Athletics Manager. “She’s a dominant force on the field and a poised, confident leader off it, always positive, focused, and quietly driven. Nikki has embodied what it means to be a Trojan throughout her entire collegiate career, and what a way to finish it off.” Charlton also dedicates her time to developing the next generation of athletes, regularly volunteering at youth soccer camps and supporting various Trojans initiatives on campus. The 2025 CCAA Women’s Soccer National Championship is being hosted by Red Deer Polytechnic in Red Deer Alberta, from November 4–8, 2025. |
