Match 1: NAIT OOKS 1 vs. Les Rouges de St-Boniface 0 The CCAA Men’s Soccer Championship in Fredericton kicked off with an exciting, evenly contested match between Les Rouges de Saint-Boniface and the NAIT Ooks. Jameson Kiezik scored for NAIT just before halftime and a crucial goal-line clearance from Emmanuel Mukolo in the final moments preserved their lead. The Ooks claimed the first win of the tournament with a 1-0 victory – an excellent game to start the action! The 4imprint Players of the Match were Oliver Altimier of Saint-Boniface and Emmanuel Mukolo of NAIT.

Match 2: Humber Hawks 3 vs. UKC Blue Devils 0 In the second game of the CCAA Men’s Soccer Championship, the Humber Hawks showcased a dominant performance, defeating the UKC Blue Devils 3-0. Luca Pinto opened the scoring early, followed by a goal from Franz Mella to solidify Humber’s lead. Jacob Ball capped off the victory with a third goal, securing the Hawks commanding win. It was a strong start for the winningest men's soccer program in the CCAA as they advance to the smei-finals of the champioship. Match 3: Algonquin Wolves 2 vs. Champlain Saint-Lambert Cavaliers 0 In the third game of the day at the CCAA Championship, the Algonquin Wolves emerged victorious with a solid 2-0 win over the Champlain Saint-Lambert Cavaliers. The Wolves struck first in the 19th minute, with Connor David finding the back of the net to give Algonquin a 1-0 lead heading into halftime. In the second half, Algonquin continued to press, and their efforts paid off in the 73rd minute when Gershom Dupuy doubled their advantage with a clinical finish. Despite a late push from Saint-Lambert, the Wolves defense held firm, ensuring a clean sheet and securing the win. The 4imprint Players of the Match were Thomas Fraser for the Cavaliers and Christian Aviles-Molina for Algonquin.

Match 4: Langara Falcons 1 vs. St. Thomas Tommies 0 In a thrilling, evenly contested match, the Langara Falcons secured a narrow 1-0 victory over the host STU Tommies to close out day one of the Championship. The game remained tight throughout, with both teams battling for control. Langara took the lead early in the match with a goal from Georgiy Osadchyy which proved to be the only tally of the game. The Tommies had their chances, Elias Stiphout came agonizingly close to equalizing with a shot that struck the post. Despite their best efforts, STU could not find the back of the net, and the Falcons held on to their slim advantage. With the win, Langara advances to the semi-finals while the Tommies will compete on the Bronze Medal side of the bracket. The 4imprint Players of the Match were Sam Choiniere for STU and Tiago Shimada for the Falcons.
