Women's Volleyball History
The first National Women's Volleyball Championship was held at the University of Montreal with College de Jonquiere winning the gold in two consecutive games over CEGEP de Ste. Foy. Red Deer College from Alberta secured the bronze in that same year. Quebec has had a stronghold on the Championship sport since its inception.
Today the National Women's Volleyball Championship features the top 8 College Teams in Canada, including five conference champions, a host team and two wildcards.
