(CORNWALL, Ont. - February 1, 2011) The 2012 CCA women’s volleyball championships will be hosted by Vancouver Island University in Nanaimo, B.C. The tournament will take place March 8-10, 2012.

“The community is excited to host this event,” stated Bruce Hunter, athletic director of Vancouver Island University and president of the BCCAA. “The committee at VIU is already working towards welcoming athletes, coaches and guests to the beautiful city of Nanaimo.”

VIU previously hosted the 2007 CCAA men’s volleyball championships and the 2005 CCAA badminton championships. The school is currently updating its facilities to offer webcasting of all matches of the 2012 tournament.
