September 30, 2011 - The CCAA soccer season has barely begun, but the NAIT Ooks are enjoying a strong start.

The Ooks are the CCAA's top nationally ranked team for the third straight week.

The Ooks compete in the ACAC's North Division, where they're currently undefeated (5-0-0). The team has maintained momentum since their silver finish at last year's 2010 Big Kahuna CCAA Women's Soccer National Championships in their hometown of Edmonton, Alta.

Should their winning streak continue, they will go on to the ACAC regional championships. Their competitor may likely be the Red Deer College Queens (5-0-1), who currently sit in sixth place in the CCAA national rankings. 

The winner of the ACAC regional championship will go on to compete at the CCAA Women's Soccer National Championships, taking place in Quebec City November 9-12, 2011.
