Liliane came to Fanshawe as a transfer from the University of Kentucky. She was not sure she wanted to get back in to a team situation, but the door was left open to her should she have a change of heart. She did, and in the Fall she began her season as a Falcon.

Liliane is a dedicated runner with a strong work ethic and a competitive fire that belies her quiet, polite exterior. She quickly asserted herself by having strong early season races not far behind team mate Becky Pieterson. By season's end she had an individual provincial title along with a stunning national title as well.

Liliane is also a leader by example with an ability to bond with people almost immediately. She is a quality individual with a bright future in whatever endeavours she pursues, including a return to Fanshawe Cross Country next season.
