Day 3 at UBC-O off to a competitive start
The final day has come at the 2010 CCAA Women’s Basketball Nationals at UBC-Okanagan.
In the first match up, Dawson College defeated UBC-O 62-57 in a close game. The players of the game were awarded to #21 Meghan McGill from UBC-O and #5 Janice Quintos of Dawson. Dawson College will move onto the Bronze medal round today at 6:00PM.
The second mach up ended in a win for Sheridan College over SAIT 76-70. Sheridan will compete for the Bronze medal at 6:00PM tonight. Players of the game went to #8 Kimberly Lee of SAIT with an outstanding 38 points and #14 Sam Scull with 19 points.
Game three ended in a win for Lethbridge College, beating Camosun 76-64. Players of teh game were #14 Kymber Gale from Camosun and #8 Anne Mercer from Lethbridge.
The Bronze medal game is over and Dawson took the game! Dawson defeated Sheridan College 67-61. Players of the Game went to #11 Sergina Estime of Dawson and #14 Sam Scull.
Sainte-Foy has won the Gold Medal at the 2010 CCAA Women's Basketball Championships for the third year in a row! Ste-Foy defeated Mount Saint Vincent University in the gold medal match up 69-55. Players of the game were awarded to #8 Katherine Brien from MSVU and #10 Catherine Groleau from Ste-Foy.
