Kamloops, BC—This was World Literacy Day. The Thompson Rivers University WolfPack women’s soccer team helped promote literacy by joining in on the ABC Family Literacy Day celebrations in Kamloops. (Cornwall, ON – November 9, 2009) As the week drew to a close, Concordia University College of Alberta Thunder took to the field to match up against the Fanshawe Falcons to compete for the gold medal and the tournament title as champions at the 2009 Big Kahuna/adidas Canadian Colleges Athletic Association Women’s Soccer National Championships.
