goldor250The CCAA (Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association) holds national championships each year in six sports: badminton, basketball, cross-country running, golf, soccer and volleyball.

The earliest national championships took place in 1975 for basketball and hockey.

The CCAA 2010/11 season included 41 teams at the PING CCAA Golf National Championships, 51 men's and 52 women's soccer teams competing for the Big Kahuna CCAA Soccer National Championship, 30 schools competing at the CCAA Cross-Country Running National Championship, 27 teams competing for the CCAA Badminton National Championship, 56 men's and 59 women's volleyball teams competing for the CCAA Volleyball National Championships, and 61 men and 62 women's teams competing for the CCAA Basketball National Championships.
