Coaches of Canada Continues to Build Partnership with the CCAA

CoC100January 17 2012 - Coaches of Canada is pleased to be partnering with the CCAA (Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association) on their Coaching Excellence Award Across All CCAA Sports.

 

This award recognizes a coach’s overall coaching contributions to their sport. Past recipients of this award include Sandra Lamb of the Mount Royal Cougars (2011), Greg Poitras of the UBCO Heat (2010) and many more.

"Coaches of Canada is thrilled to include this award in our coach recognition program and we look forward to building a long-term relationship with the CCAA and its coaches," says Wayne Parro, ChPC, Executive Director of Coaches of Canada.

"We proudly recognize the accomplishments and contributions of our coaches through the CCAA's most prestigious honour, the Coaching Excellence Award Across All CCAA Sports," claims Sandra Murray-MacDonell, CCAA Executive Director. "Partnering with Coaches of Canada's on this award is a natural fit for both organizations and will serve to heighten coach experiences and achievements."

Going forward the recipient of the CCAA’s Coaching Excellence Award Across All CCAA Sports will receive a one-year membership with Coaches of Canada along with a gift co-branded by Coaches of Canada and the CCAA.

All CCAA coaches are encouraged to become members of the coaching profession and join Coaches of Canada. Coaches of Canada is a member-driven organization, and members are coaches who represent all sport, both professional and amateur. Their mission is to advance the profession of coaching and to advance the contributions coaches make to individuals, teams, communities and society.
