CCAA Welcomes New Communications and Events Coordinator

StephanieWereley_s(Cornwall, Ont - October 5, 2010) – The Canadian Colleges Athletic Association (CCAA) is pleased to appoint Stephanie Wereley as the organization’s new communications and events coordinator. Wereley will begin immediately under a one-year contract.
 

"Stephanie with her expertise will be playing a key role in communications with the goal of developing a consistent communications plan for the Association as a whole, and in relations to National Championships,” says Sandra Murray-MacDonell, CCAA Executive Director. “In addition, she will be working closely with hosts and sport convenors to ensure the best experience possible for student-athletes and coaches at CCAA events. Please join me in welcoming Stephanie to the Canadian College Athletic Association’s team.”

A native of Cornwall, Wereley earned a bachelor of technology from Ryerson University and a public relations certificate from Humber College in Toronto. She most recently served as public relations and marketing assistant at the Royal Ontario Museum.

“I’m delighted to represent the Canadian Colleges Athletic Association,” says Wereley. “It’s a well-respected organization, and I look forward to serving its members.”
