Residents of Lloydminster, Alberta were anxious to catch the Olympic Spirit as they had the opportunity to see the Olympic Flame in person on January 12, 2010 as it passed through on its way towards the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games.  Jeremy Potter, a second year Bachelor of Physical Education at Grant MacEwan University, carried the torch through the community. 

 

Jeremy is a veteran left side player on the men’s volleyball team at MacEwan, looking forward to recapturing the National gold medal this year on his home court. 
The Olympic Torch relay is on its 82nd day as it reaches the final leg of its tour across Canada. 

The Canadian Colleges Athletic Association is a national sport organization that enriches the lives of student-athletes through intercollegiate competition.
