The CCAA’s New Hire

Meaghan_100x100(Cornwall, On – September 14, 2009) The Canadian Colleges Athletic Association (CCAA) is pleased to announce the hiring of Meaghan Green as Communications and Events Coordinator.
Meaghan will be playing a key role in the coordination of National Championships.  She will work hand in hand with hosts and sport convenors to ensure the best experience possible for student-athletes and coaches.  As the Association’s Communications officer she will also be ensuring consistent and reliable dissemination of information from the CCAA office.

Meaghan is a recent graduate from the Sport Business Management Program from Algonquin College.  This program only accepts candidates that have graduated with a college diploma or university degree.  Meaghan previously graduated from Carleton University with a degree in Psychology and a minor in French studies.  The Sports Business Management Program, focuses strictly on the business of sport; providing training in sports marketing and financing, event bidding, planning and management, legal aspects of sport and sport governance.  During this program Meaghan was placed in a number of sports settings including, Sport Canada, the Ottawa 67’s hockey club and Athletics Canada.   Meaghan is a sport enthusiast and a recent graduate of the Algonquin women’s soccer team. Please contact Meaghan by email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
