NAME: Brittany Knievel
After suffering an injury early in the season, Knievel is rounding into form. This past weekend, the Mariners travelled to Surrey and Vancouver to take on the Kwantlen Eagles and Langara Falcons. “Brittany provided us with the inside presence we desperately need to be successful” stated Coach McWhinnie. On Friday, Knievel had 16 points and 9 rebounds in a 74-38 win against Kwantlen. On Saturday, she added 22 points and had 9 rebounds in a 64-39 win against Langara. Knievel continues to get better each week and has been a big reason for the Mariners’ recent success.
