Molten Ball Receives Praise Ahead of 2012 CCAA Volleyball National Championships

Molten5000January 20 2012- The Molten V5M5000 is receiving positive feedback from CCAA coaches and athletes in its inaugural year as the official volleyball of the CCAA.

Molten's V5M5000 is the official volleyball of the CCAA’s regular season, post season and training, and will be the only ball used at the men and women’s CCAA Volleyball National Championships.

"I have been quite impressed with the ball," says Rocky Olfert, head coach of 2011 CCAA men's national champions the Columbia Bearcats. "It has a strong reputation and has proven to be very durable. It plays very fair, in that the ball is quite predictable. That makes for better rallies, and in the end, a better game of volleyball.”

“It’s the best ball we’ve used to date,” says Paul Settle, head coach of the NSAC Rams. “It’s standing up well, it’s better for setters as it has a bit of a ‘grip,’ and it serves consistently.  We are very pleased with the performance of the Molten in our program.”

The Molten V5M5000 is FIVB-approved and features FLISTATEC® Flight Stability Technology, a premium micro-fiber cover and a two-year warranty. In addition to the CCAA, it’s the official volleyball of the NCAA and NORCECA championships. A three-year agreement ensures the ball will be used by the CCAA until 2014.

The 2012 CCAA Volleyball National Championships will take place March 8-10, 2012. The 2012 CCAA Men’s Volleyball National Championship will be hosted by Columbia Bible College in Abbotsford, B.C. The 2012 CCAA Women’s Volleyball National Championship will be hosted by Vancouver Island University in Nanaimo, B.C.
