February 28, 2011 - The country’s top male college volleyball players will soon travel to Sherbrooke, Que. for the 2011 CCAA Men’s National Volleyball Championship presented by CKOI. The championship tournament takes place at Cégep de Sherbrooke March 10-12.

The 2011 CCAA Men’s National Volleyball Championship presented by CKOI features the top eight men’s volleyball teams in Canada seeded in the following order:

1. University of British Columbia-Okanagan
2. Briercrest College
3. Cegep de Sherbrooke
4. Red Deer College
5. Humber College 
6. Columbia Bible College
7. Cegep Limoilou 
8. University of King's College

The CCAA All Canadian Awards Banquet will precede the competition, beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 9. The competition will begin the following day and run through Saturday, March 12.

The schedule is as follows:

Thursday March 10
Game #1              12pm – UBCO vs UKC
Game # 2             2pm – Red Deer vs Humber
Game # 3             6pm – Sherbrooke vs Columbia Bible
Game # 4             8pm – Briercrest vs Limoilou

Friday March 11
Game # 5             12pm – Losers of game 1 & 2
Game # 6             2pm – Losers of game 3 & 4
Game # 7             6pm – Winners of game 1 & 2 (semi-final)
Game # 8             8pm – Winners of game 3 & 4 (semi-final)

Saturday March 12
Game # 9             10am – Losers of game 7 & Winners of game 6
Game # 10          12pm – Losers of game 8 vs. Winners of game 5
Game # 11          2pm – Losers of game 5 & 6 (7th/8th place)
Game # 12          5pm – Winners of game 9 & 10 (Bronze Medal)
Game # 13          7pm – Winners of game 7 & 8 (Gold Medal)

The Closing Ceremony and Awards Presentation will take place immediately following the final match.
