The Limoilou Titans earn the title as Champions at the 2010 CCAA Men’s Volleyball Championships this past weekend, as they took on the SAIT Trojans in the final match up of the tournament.

In a hard fought match on Saturday afternoon, the Limoilou Titans and the SAIT Trojans left everything on the court in an effort to become CCAA Champions.  The final match up went to four sets, but it was Limoilou that came out on top 3-1 against SAIT.

“The CCAA men's volleyball championships saw some of the best action I have seen in years” says CCAA VP Programs, Ray Sarkis.  “The competition may have started a little slow on Thursday but by Saturday it was just explosive on the court from the 7 & 8 position match all the way to the gold”.

“Congratulations to all the athletes who competed and to the medal winners. Congratulations to the Grant MacEwan University organizing committee and all the volunteers who did an outstanding job of hosting this year’s championships and on behalf of all the athletes and coaches we want to express our sincere gratitude”.
