MacEwan Gets Ready to Welcome the Competition
(Cornwall, ON – February 26, 2010) The 2010 CCAA Men’s Volleyball Championship is soon approaching its competition date as Grant MacEwan University gets ready its final tasks before welcoming Canada to their school.
The tournament will be hosted at MacEwan who has been busy organizing and preparing for the tournament. The provincial champions from each of the 5 provincial conferences, 2 wildcards and the host team will meet on March 11th when the tournament begins with the national champion being crowned March 13th.
“The championship is a great opportunity for Grant MacEwan University, the ACAC and the CCAA to show case elite level volleyball from across Canada and these fabulous high performance student athletes. We are looking forward to hosting this premier event” says Ken Schildroth, Grant MacEwan College Athletic Director.
All conferences are now gearing up for play-offs and Conference Championships in the coming weeks, setting the stage for an exceptional National Championships.
