Men's Soccer History
Men's soccer ran as an invitational CCAA tournament from 1983 to 1986. In 1987 the event became a full-fledged National Championship was hosted at Vainer College in Montreal. During that first National Championship NAIT from Edmonton won the gold medal defeating Seneca College from Toronto 1-0. Durham College from Oshawa took home the bronze that same year.
Today the National Men's Soccer Championship features the top 6 College teams in Canada, including five conference champions and a host team.
