2010 Men’s Soccer All Canadians

M_JoseBrunoMota(Edmonton – November 9, 2010) The Canadian Colleges Athletic Association (CCAA) proudly announced the CCAA Men's Soccer All Canadians who are being recognized at the 2010 Big Kahuna Soccer Championships All Canadian Awards Banquet hosted by NAIT in Edmonton.

 

Each award recipient is selected by their individual conference based on their performance and contribution to both their sport and their team.

Hamza Adiem of Champlain College Saint Lambert is a gifted technical player who sets an example for his fellow team members.

Jose Bruno Mota of La Cité Collégiale was a leading goal scorer, guiding the Coyotes to their first ever playoff appearance.

Patrice Dion of Collège François-Xavier-Garneau dominated his league as leading goal scorer, All Star member and MVP.

Cameo Ellis, Sheridan College is a standout player in his league, and a crucial defender for his team.

Justin Farenik of Mount  Royal University celebrated five years with the Cougars and has played with a professional club in Belgium.

Kailen Murphy of Seneca College is a dedicated player and his team’s lead scorer this season.

Danilo Pessoa of Dawson College is an exemplary athlete who plays with confident and maturity.

Brian Peters of the University of New Brunswick-Saint John was the lead scorer in his league, and works as a mentor with middle school students.

Sahil Sandhu of Douglas College is a former national U17 player who helped lead his team to an undefeated regular season.

Thiago Silva of Northern Alberta Institute of Technology is an Ooks midfielder who spent the summer on Edmonton FC and volunteers as a mentor in a soccer youth program.

Reynold Stewart of Douglas College is a two-time leading scorer in his league who put the success of his team first.

Congratulations to all players on their performances this year.
