2008 CCAA Men's Soccer Coach of the Year

Paul D’Hollander of Fanshawe College is the winner of the 2008 CCAA Men's Soccer Coach of the Year award.

As head coach of the Falcons, Paul led his team to a 9-1-1 season finish substantially improving on their previous year record of 5-2-1. Through his coaching, Paul strives to provide a competitive opportunity and environment for his players while also promoting respect for self, teammates, coaching staff, officials and administration.  Paul supports each student-athlete in achieving their academic goals and aims to provide a coaching experience which will enhance the abilities and qualities of each individual player.

Off the pitch, Paul provides a positive role model to players. He is very approachable and regularly meets with his players, mentoring or supporting them as they try to balance both academics and athletics.

Outside of the Falcons, Paul can be found watching indoor games that many of his players participate in during the winter months.   Paul also coaches two local area youth teams.

Coach of the Year recipients receive a CCAA customized ring provided by Jostens Canada, the Official Ring supplier of the CCAA Championship Awards Banquet.
