CCAA Men’s Soccer Player of the Year

Veteran Striker, Will Beauge is the winner of the 2008 CCAA Men’s Soccer Player of the Year award.

This third year striker with the Algonquin College Thunder, is at the top of his game leading the Thunder with 13 goals in 11 games.  His exceptional play helped his team finish the season with an 11-0-1 record and lead the Thunder to it’s fifth provincial title.

His outstanding skills and abilities have merited him numerous athletic awards and acclamations, including:  two-time CCAA Tournament All Star, 2007 OCAA Championship MVP, 2007-2008 OCAA All Star, 2006 CCAA National Champion, and 2006-2007 OCAA Champion.

An inspiring team leader, Will’s drive, dedication and leadership skills are second to none.  His commitment and love of the sport extends beyond the pitch where he shares his passion for the game by coaching kids in the Ottawa area.

Player of the Year recipients receive a CCAA customized ring provided by Jostens Canada, the Official Ring Supplier of the CCAA Championship Awards Banquet
