February 1, 2011 - The 2012 CCAA men’s basketball championships will be hosted by Nova Scotia Agricultural College in Truro, N.S. The tournament takes place March 15-17, 2012.

“Nova Scotia Agricultural College and its athletics department bring a wealth of experience to this event,” stated Neil Hooper, president of the ACAA. “Their goal is to create the best possible experience for participants, and this championship will be no exception.”

Nova Scotia Agricultural College has hosted 12 CCAA national championships, including five for men’s basketball. They will raise the bar next year by having all games webcast online, with the gold and bronze medal games broadcast regionally on EastLink Television.

“Basketball is very popular in the Truro area,” said Judy Smith, athletic director at Nova Scotia Agricultural College. “The championships will be supported by Basketball Nova Scotia, Tourism Nova Scotia, the Nova Scotia High School Federation, EastLink Television and the local media.”
