The 2010 CCAA Men’s National Basketball Championships are right around the corner, as teams gear up and ready themselves for a weekend of face paced competition.  The championships will be hosted at SAIT, March 18-20^th.

The 2010 CCAA Championships features the top 8 men’s teams in Canada, seeding in the following order:

1. University of Northern BC
2. Humber College
3. NAIT
4. Cégep de Sainte-Foy
5. Mount Saint Vincent University
6. Champlain St. Lambert
7. SAIT
8. Fanshawe College

The CCAA All Canadian Awards Banquet will precede the competition, beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 17th. The competition will begin on the following day, the schedule is as follows:

Thursday March 18

Game 1              1:00pm #8 Fanshawe College vs. # 1 UNBC

Game 2:             3:00pm #5 MSVU vs. #4 Sainte Foy

Game 3              6:00pm #6 Champlain St. Lambert vs. #3 NAIT

Game 4              8:00pm #7 SAIT vs. #2 Humber College

Friday March 19

Game 5              1:00pm Loser of Game 1 vs. loser of game 2

Game 6              3:00pm Loser of game 3 vs. loser of game 4

Game 7              6:00pm Winner of game 1 vs. winner of game 2

Game 8              8:00pm Winner of game 3 vs. winner of game 4

Saturday March 20

Game 9              10:00am Loser of game 7 vs. winner of game 6

Game 10            12:00pm Loser of game 8 vs. winner of game 5

Game 11            2:00pm Loser of game 5 vs. loser of game 6 (5^th/6^th place)

Game 12            6:00pm Winner of game 9 vs. winner of game 10 (Bronze)

Game 13            8:00pm Winner of game 8 vs. winner of game 7 (Gold)
