May 1, 2011 – The CCAA (Canadian Colleges Athletic Association) has renewed PING Canada as the official title sponsor of the PING CCAA Golf National Championship.

PING Canada is also title sponsor of the PING Skills Competition and the PING CCAA Fair Play Awards, which are presented during the Championship tournament.

This three-year agreement ensures CCAA and PING’s partnership will continue well into the 2013 season. PING Canada is the CCAA’s longest serving partner, and has sponsored the PING CCAA Golf National Championship since 2000.

An excited Dave Wilson, General Manager at PING Canada had this to say regarding the renewed partnership: “PING Canada is pleased to announce the renewal of sponsorship for the CCAA Golf Open Championship. PING Canada has sponsored the CCAA Open for over 10 years. Participation in this important event has grown every year. PING believes that our partnership with the Canadian College Athletic Association encourages young players to play their best.”

PING will provide merchandise to student-athletes participating in the PING CCAA Golf National Championships, as well as prizes for winners of the PING Skills Competition and the PING CCAA Fair Play Awards..

The 2011 PING CCAA Golf National Championship will be hosted by Holland College and take place October 18-21, 2011 on Brudenell River Golf Course in Roseneath, P.E.I.
