Holland College to host 2011 PING Golf
(CORNWALL, Ont. - February 1, 2011) The 2011 PING CCAA Golf championships will be hosted by Holland College of Charlottetown, P.E.I. The event will take place October 18-21, 2011 on Brudenell River Golf Course in Roseneath, P.E.I.
“Holland College is proud to serve as host of the 2011 CCAA Golf Open Championships,” said Brian McMillan, president of Holland College. “Prince Edward Island has earned its reputation as Canada's favorite golf destination, and it’s an exceptional venue to hold a national tournament championship.”
Brudenell River has been recognized as one of the Top 50 golf courses in Canada, and has hosted numerous Canadian Tour events.
Male and female student athletes from across Canada will compete at the championship as individuals and on teams. The four-day event will also include a skills competition and visits from local dignitaries.
