February 1, 2011 - The 2012 CCAA badminton championships will be hosted by Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, B.C. The event will take place March 1-3, 2012 in the university’s gymnasium.

“I am pleased to confirm Thompson Rivers University as host of the 2012 CCAA national badminton championships,” stated Alan Shaver, president and vice-chancellor of Thompson Rivers University. “The TRU athletics department will do an exemplary job hosting this event.”

This is the third time in three year Thompson Rivers has hosted a CCAA championships event; they hosted PING Golf in 2010 and will host cross-country running in 2011.
