Merle Logan Field at Beban Park

The city of Nanaimo is a classic West Coast community, offering natural beauty at every turn, and vast recreation potential. Nanaimo has one of the longest shorelines in Canada, and a forested mountain backdrop just outside downtown.

Named after the Beban Family who lived on the 160 acres of land from 1930s-1950s Beban Park is Nanaimo's premier recreation complex offering activities for everyone. You'll find some of the city's key recreational facilties and amentities located here including Merle Logan Field.

Merle Logan Field is a lit, artificial turf field with a small field house with wash rooms.The field was dedicated in the memory of Merle Logan, a long time volunteer within the local soccer community.
