PACWEST Tournament #4
October 7-8

The PACWEST is the last conference to determine which teams will travel to the 2017 PING CCAA Golf National Championships, hosted by Durham College October 16-20. The UFV Cascades are hosting the final tournament of the cumulative season, where their women’s team should lock up a first-place finish. However, the men’s side is remarkably close, with the UBC-Okanagan Heat leading the Cascades by only three strokes after the previous three events.

Lethbridge Kodiaks Invitational
October 5-7

The Lethbridge Kodiaks welcome several ACAC teams for a women’s basketball invitational tournament to close out the conference’s pre-season schedule. In addition to the defending National Champions, the Medicine Hat Rattlers, STMU Lightning, SAIT Trojans, NAIT Ooks and Augustana Vikings will all be in action this Thanksgiving weekend. Lethbridge enters the season with new Head Coach Deanna Dotts, who won a CCAA Silver Medal as a player with the Kodiaks in 2015 and Gold as an assistant coach on the team last year.

Durham Lords vs. Centennial Colts
October 6 at 8:00 p.m. ET

The Durham Lords (4-2-1) visit the Centennial Colts (4-2) for a Men’s Soccer showdown in the highly competitive OCAA East Division. The Lords recently slipped out of the CCAA Rankings where they were replaced by division rivals, the Algonquin Thunder (5-2). With the season soon coming to an end, both Durham and Centennial will want to lock up as many points as possible to guarantee themselves a birth in the OCAA Playoffs.

Nomades Invitational
October 6-8

Montmorency will host the Nomades Women's Basketball Invitational this weekend in Laval. There are two divisions in the tournament, with teams from three CCAA conferences. The RSEQ will be represented by Montmorency, Dawson, Champlain Saint-Lambert, Édouard-Montpetit, Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Sainte-Foy and Saint-Laurent. OCAA teams will include Humber, St. Clair, George Brown and Sheridan. Holland of the ACAA will also participate in the pre-season tune-up.
